You're all familiar with the um new
community authority. This is a self-help
mechanism to make sure ensure that the
residents that come into this new
development are helping to pay for the
infrastructure that that they bring on
to the city. In addition to that, when
this is uh hopefully adopted, the safety
services get a a percentage of that
fundra. So, it seems to be pretty
straightforward. I believe today's the
third reading and hope tonight. Fourth

before it goes to finance. So this next
meeting will be before our next finance

officials, you know, we can formulate
that and we can share that with them so
we can get answers back later. It will
be up to the finance committee from that
point on, I believe, to bring
legislation forward which then can be
discussed in council meetings. So, I'm

Um, I've read through a lot of the
resolutions that are on tonight's docket
and there's a couple questions I have
about some of them. And the first one is
resolution 132-26,
which basically says a resolution
reviewing job descriptions. The street
department is in need of revising
several drop job descriptions.
I was hoping that the public safety
director would have been here because he
could probably have answered most of my
questions. So I will ask the sponsor if
they know what the question I'm going to
ask and that is on page four of the this
document. Can someone tell me the
difference between a street maintenance
worker number two and a street
maintenance worker number one?

>> I never know if we're here to answer
questions specifically.
>> I do not know offhand the difference in
those two categories of street
maintenance workers. Kenna, do you
happen to know that?
Well, I don't think it tells in this
document what it doesn't specify the
difference between the job description
between a worker two and a worker one.
And that's what I was trying to find
out. Is that basically

A resolution authorizing the safety
service director to advertise for an RFQ
for NCA and TIF advisors.
Uh Greg, if you can't answer this, I can

Uh I'm assuming that we don't have these

And if we don't um
are they going to get paid and if so
where is the money going to come from
for these advisors?
>> Okay fair questions and I think I'm
familiar enough to answer this. So um
when we first set up the tiffs and the
NCAs uh there was a discussion we had um
Bradley Payne was that what is that his
name? Yeah, Bradley Payne advisers, they
came in, they gave a presentation, said
they would help manage this because I
believe there at that point there was 19
different zones or 19 different economic
districts. Each one of those have a
different start point, end point,
different things in those and that each
one of those would generate money. this
group, Bradley Paint Advisor, said they
would come in, that they would help us
manage that, help us keep track of that,
help us make sure everything gets paid.
It's really helping the auditor's office
probably as much as anything, and maybe
even the county auditor, and that they
can get paid from those funds, from the
TIFF funds. Uh, so we may have to accept
some of the cost out of our TIFF funds.
I'm not 100% sure about that. and maybe
the developer has to um maybe he
contributes and through out those tiff
funds also. So we're not paying for
that, it will be paid for out of the
money that it generates.

>> And the re the reason we have to do the
request for qualifications is even
though there's only a few of these
groups in Ohio, uh we can't just go hire
them as we'd like to. We at least have
to make sure they're qualified to do the
job. And because just second and because
they are um a professional organization,
we don't have to bid that out
necessarily that we can hire them. Mr.
Gross.
>> Yeah. And I you're 100% right. And I do
think
that there was a specific dollar amount
coming from the developers.
>> Right. That's what I thought. But I I
thought there might be some sharing
mechanism in there.
I hope not.
>> I think it comes from the developers
portion up to a certain level. So, you
know that it's not $200,000.
>> All right. Thank you. Uh, next
resolution 135-26,
a resolution authorizing the
advertisement for bids for personal
property no longer needed for city
purposes. And I noticed that there are
two
uh vehicles that they would like to uh
get rid of. The one in question that I
have is a 2008 Navastar Workstar 74 7400
dump truck.
Mileage 35,649
miles. Now, I realize that is 18 years
old, but if you take 18 years into
35,649
miles, that's only an average of 1,890
miles per year. So, my question is,
why are we getting rid of this if it's
got such low miles on it, even though
age has got 18, but the miles are low?
And I have not personally inspected this
vehicle. Um, and I'd be quite happy to
reach out to Bill Long and follow up
with you, but it's my understanding
there are some other issues with the
truck. I'm not certain exactly what
those are, but you've got a valid
question, and I'd be happy to reach out
to him and and get a specific answer for
you.

resolution 136-26,
a resolution authorizing the safety
service director to advertise for bids
and enter into a contract. Section one,
the safety service director is hereby
authorized to advertise for bids and
enter into contract not to exceed
$225,000.

number came to the forefront?
>> We have been looking at what the cost
would be for having the entire parking
lot that's down on Park Avenue right now
resurfaced. The rest will be a diagram
that I don't know, Chris, will we be
able to pull that picture up that we
were sent from Landon tonight?
>> I don't have that.
>> I'll try to email that over to you
before we get to it. But um it will show
the extension of the parking lot because
one of the big things that we were
looking into is with the new pickle ball
courts, you're actually shutting off
getting to the skate parks within any
kind of easy manner without going all
the way around to the other walkway. And
so having a parking lot that goes down
the backside also and extending the
current one will add 55 spots I think it
is and comes to 225 is the quote that
landing gave us. He is saying it should
be a good amount lower but I'm not going
to give any

going to be able to put it out for bid.
So the city or

allocated no more than 225,000

on May 12th. Called the order or called
the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. All
three committee members were present.
Uh, we had a motion to approve the April
14th minutes. All three committee
members approved them. Uh fire and EMS
report was given by Chief Eids. Uh Mr.
Hit will give that momentarily.
Uh police report was given by uh safety
service director Mr. Saltzman and Mr.
Stall will give that report to council
momentarily.
Uh safety service director had no new
matters to bring up. We had nothing as
far as new business and we had nothing
as far as old business. We did have a
public comment from Councilman Boyd who
attended. Uh he was uh had some
questions regarding city curfew. Uh and
Mr. Saltzman answered those questions
from Mr. Boyd I think to his his
understanding. Um we adjourned at 6:15
and next public safety committee meeting
will be June 9th, 2026 in the conference
room at 6 pm.
Do you have anybody else to share your
reports with?
>> Uh, Mr. Hit and Mr. Stall.

>> Okay. I'll I attended the safety
committee meeting and I'll go through
the report that the fire chief
submitted.
Uh, as far as EMS training, they
performed
PHTLS refresher, which is prehosp trauma
life support.
And as far as fire training, they had
hose movement and new part-time
orientation.
They also hosted student ride time for
tolls and grant paramedic class.
They attended the fair haven touch a
truck. They attended the Mother's Day
event. [snorts] They attended the life
career fair at London Middle School.
They completed a hose testing. And they
hosted uh station tours and steam
events. They part participated in the
volleyball match against the Madison
County Tigers, which understand Tigers
won
>> as they always do.
>> As they always do.
Okay. And some statistics.
Last year at this time there were,04
runs,
which is an average of 7.6 runs per day.
This year they had, 2016 runs, which is
7.7 runs per day. So that's up a small
amount.

>> London Police Division Public Safety
Committee briefing May 12, 2026. LPD
participated in the Steam event at city
hall, engaging with local second grade
students and providing educational
hands-on interaction with public safety
personnel and equipment. Officers
participated in the Fair Haven Tetra
Truck event, providing preschool
children the opportunity to interact
with officers and explore police
equipment. Department members
participated in a community volleyball
event alongside LFD against the Madison
County Tigers. Personnel attended the
life fair career event at Mattis at
London Middle School speaking with
students about careers in law
enforcement.
Officers participated in the senior fair
at the Madison County Senior Center
connecting with senior residents
providing public safety resources and
community support. The department has
concluded accepting applications. Upon
approval of of the eligibility list by
the Civil Service Commission, an
applicant processing and background
investigation will begin.
K9 Cento successfully completed his
annual state of Ohio police K9
certificate ensuring continued operation
readiness and compliance with state
standards. Thank you.

the service committee.
>> Yeah, I uh attended the public service
committee meeting this past or May 12th
and uh
Miss Jackman will give the streets
department report and Mr. Boyd will give
the um parks and recreation report.
Uh
let me see. Uh we did as far as old
business, we talked about uh bringing
forward the
uh parking lot expansion at Park Avenue
and then also the street equipment that
the street department wants to sell.
Uh Mr. Boyd brought up uh dust
mitigation
issues that were brought up at the last
council meeting and Mr. Gross attended
and uh went through several things
related to that. uh one was that that uh
as EPA jurisdictional issue that uh if
legislation was to be passed that would
be difficult to enforce.
Um
he also explained that there's a
schedule
uh that the that is in place to address
the um dust mitigation and mud on the uh
streets.
Uh Mr. Mr. Boyd also brought up uh
utility repair or utility companies
coming in and um the repair work that
might need to be done after that if they
leave something incomplete.
And uh the city mayor and street or
safety service director responded saying
that they've had pretty good response
time as far as those companies coming
back and doing the repair work that
needs to be done.
Also, Mr. Gross attended and he
explained that the street from London
Landing will soon be coming through at
the bowling alley and the mayor
requested that that could be delayed
uh until school is out and Mr. Cros
explained that that could be
accommodated.
Uh our next public service committee
meeting is June 9th at 5:00 in the
meeting room next door.

>> All right, let's go on ahead and knock
out the parks and recreation from public
service committee. So, the courts are up
and ready at the pickle ball and so
being used on a daily basis. Looking at
finding someone to hold a clinic for
those new to the sport leagues to start
later this summer. Uh, we didn't get the
grant for getting the covers that we
were hoping for out there, but we are
getting the grants for replacing the
existing fencing around the courts and
ball diamond. Oh, they're waiting for
the estimate to apply for it. Deadline
is July 1st. Uh, if you're looking for
something this summer to get into, adult
sports league, slow pitch softball is
$400 and beginning June 7th for the
co-ed league. Men's league is June 4th
that it starts and deadline to register
is May 24th.
Sand volleyball 125 bucks co-ed and
goes in the afternoons beginning July
12th, Sunday afternoons. All that's
online, so if you're curious for that,
you can go on there and look. Pool opens
May 23rd. So hopefully everybody's ready
to get on that diving board. I know I
am. And the hope boxes have been moved
if anyone has been looking for them.
First movie night is going to be coming
up June 12th with the goat.
We got new park signage also is the last
piece that they had for us.
That was deep
that was donated by the Madison Health
Collaboration we had. So if you're out
there, check that on out. That is all.

as usual, the street department did
quite a few varied activities. Um, they
looked at a parking lot for parks and
wreck, repaired a trash truck, replaced
three lights downtown, started street
sweeping,
>> repaired curbs on Wood Street and
Lafayette Street, repaired arms on a
trash truck, met with Columbia Gas at
Center and Madison for a gas man
replacement,
um,
inspected cement at multiple locations,
changed a couple of traffic lights,
helped with the church dinner, mowed
city property, picked up and planted 12
trees and those were planted at Cowing
Park, replaced signs around town,
repaired the ditch on Midway Street, two
rental trash trucks were in for service,
moved the hope boxes at the parks, put
up some signs at the parks, reported
lights to Ohio Edison, called in some
oops tickets, met with the Boring
Company about cleanup and repairs.
replaced a sidewalk panel on Center
Street. Uh I guess it was damaged from a
project. Removed three trees from
Cowling Park, cleaned curbs around town,
um met with a contractor about sewer on
Center Street, lost some tin off of the
open pole barn roof, ordered and picked
up a new electric box for South Main
Street, met with a couple of places that
had water in their basement. They did
some pothole patching. Um, also some
pothole patching in an alley. Looked at
road gradings, talked to the contractor
about start times on High Street,
delivered trash cans, ran a camera in
the pool drain, picked up dead animals,
and mowed the ditches.
All right. There's a big difference when
it was handwritten and kind of hard to
follow and when it's typewritten and she
can follow it all. That's great. Hey, I
do have a concern to for the committees
that aren't my committees. Um, in the
past um
street department over the winter time
when they're waiting for snow, they go
around and they can find the street
lights which aren't working and they
call those into Ohio Edison as a group.
And I know the police department's had
that responsibility in the past. There
are a number of street lights that
probably haven't been reported. Ohio
Edison doesn't even know and maybe if
you guys bring those up at the
committees maybe somebody will do that.

Ohio Edison about several lights

to the finance committee. Shannon.
>> So for the month of April, gross revenue
was $1,716,728.17.
Expenses were 1,595,48161.
These are good figures for the year to
date. Uh gross revenue was $8,173,8427.
expenses were 10,10,000
200 293 and 36. Um most of that being
accounted for with the police building.
Uh I have notes here that says all the
bond bond money has been expended
at this point in time. Um also there uh
were some notes from the auditor. Police
compensation is running a little bit
high uh mostly due to the short staffing
and we had to pay some uh overtime.
The tax department uh
both general and fire funds were down
approximately 15% which is probably just
a market reset from the nearly 30%
increase for both of those areas in
March. um probably due to early filers.
Um still not a whole lot of traffic on
the eile site this year.
Let's see. Old business. Um
we've got um a review of elected
official salaries coming up for
executive session. I believe soon. We um
attended city logic's training on
Wednesday of last week. regarding the
sidewalk scan.
Um, other matters that are were
discussed on new business are coming up
uh in new business.

have a city official with us tonight. Do

>> I have nothing.
>> All right. So, I'm going to I'll share
just a little information. I don't know
who has it and who doesn't at this
point. The reading uh for sanitation
took place this morning at 11:30. Um
Miss Hy was there
and
um I think Mr. Boyd had been there and
had left, but I was there. There was
there were actually three companies that
were represented in the room, but only
one company submitted a bid. So there is
a single bid from Rumkey and if we if
you just want to know basically what the
number is from what I believe to be
correct the monthly rate for a
residential user is set in their bid
right now at $20.75
per month. Uh that would include if I
get this correct um
yard waste and uh one bulk item per
pickup I believe. So that's all to be
that's all to be determined. There's
nothing more to come before us tonight.
Mr. Saltzman has to go through and make
sure that all the specs were met and
that um I believe if they were all met,
he's we're going to move forward and
he'll enter into a contract uh to enter
into a contract with Rumkey is what I
believe. Mr. Hayes, did you have

>> Uh basically same thing that you just
gave is what I was let privy to today.
Um, I'm kind of shocked we didn't get
some other bids from the other
companies. I don't know what happened
there. One company did ask for more
time, but because the legal aspects of
it, couldn't give them more time.
Right. So, I just wanted to share that
so people know that the bid opening did
take place. All right. With no other
city official reports, we're going to
move on to old business. We move on to
the third reading of resolution 12926.

>> This was basically just a housekeeping
issue to make these um to update these
so they're relevant to the current
situation.
And I had just a couple pieces on this
one that we were still kind of going
over and looking into.
>> Yeah, I don't have is that okay? And so
one of the pieces that we had discussed
in public service, I believe it was, was
that the CDL requirement was being based
off of having air brakes on our
superintendent's trucks that we were
talking about. And it actually comes
down to the CDL requirement goes off of
a 26,000 lb limit with a trailer. If the
trailer alone is 10,000 lb, then that
would require the CDL. I find that a
little tough because having a 2004 F-150
with a full trailer of scrap comes up to
about 23,000 lb. So, I feel that's not
too difficult of number for us to really
go over. uh equipment purchase, job site
preparation, and ensuring job site
materials are there and in place. That's
another one that might require actually
having something that does weigh over
this limit and might require that CDL.
Um looking into the weight of the
current vehicle is kind of the biggest
thing that I think is best for the next
motion, which is, you know, us seeing
that gives us the ability to actually
understand what is able to be towed and
used at for this position.
At this time, I would like to make a

All right. So, we have a motion on the
table very specifically. It states to
strike the st superintendent from this.
Is that correct?
>> Yes. [clears throat] And this would not
put anyone's job in danger at all
because all correct paperwork is already
filed. This is purely to make sure that
we aren't taking this away and then all
of a sudden saying, "Okay, we actually
need to put something back in place or
possibly have him help with certain
items." I think it's good to have it as
a safety around. They have their safety
precautions with filing the forms needed
to say, "Hey, he doesn't need that CDL
right now." And so hopefully we can take
that. The other part is the herbicide.

minute. In order in order to move this
discussion along, I'm going to second
that so that we can have discussion. So,

the job description you're talking

>> And just kind of move it to the keep
with the must possess because really he
has the paperwork already needed for
allowing or kind of saying hey that's
not needed right now. So he's okay.
Anyway, the herbicide applicators
license is the other large piece I was
looking into and hoping to ask how many
street department workers we do have
licensed with this at the moment. That
would be a big one for hey mosquito
populations, grass deterrence along the
street sides and other items that I
think is good to keep in place.
Can I just point out that when the the
the the language that we're being asked
to modify here does not remove the
requirement for either a CDL or an
herbicide applicator's license, it
removes the requirement that you
prepossess the CDL or the herb herbicide
applicator's requirement. you can still
be required to acquire and maintain it
in order to keep your job, but this
allows the um safety service director to
expand um the potential field of
candidates by um uh requiring a CDL
after the fact instead of before the
fact. If it's still needed for the job,
it's still needed for the job.
>> And that was Yeah. kind of the part that
we're taking away the ordinance law
would have.
>> No, no, it's not. It's this it's it's
saying that you still must be able to
get a CDL that's that's clearly in here
>> and that's where we went over kind of
dates or requirement times and so there
isn't really any set and so giving that
power to him to be able to do that when
one of the things that generally comes
to me and caused an issue is the fact
that when it came to describing the CDL
requirement to us that wasn't being
described correctly to us in the first
place and so to give away that power of
letting him have That choice is yes.

>> Yeah. Uh, my understanding was it just
was to open up additional options for
hiring was how it was explained. Um,
that's kind of my understanding of it.
I absolutely agree with what Shannon and
Andy have said. It's been discussed
multiple times by the safety service
director that he does want to open up
the candidate pool
to more so he could hire the best
candidate. And it will say in there that
they must be able to
earn and maintain the CDL if needed and
or the herbicide applicator's license.
But he could still hire one of them
without those as long as they were able
to get and maintain such licensing if
the need would arise.
>> And I've said that's fine for street
worker one, street worker two, foreman
position and the assistant super. You
haven't been recognized. Please stand

I'm going to let you I'll let you make

Boyd. Okay. So, um, I kind of agree that
I think it's a shame that we would maybe
possibly lower the standards of what our
superintendent needs, but I also think
that there's a management right that we
have to consider that he needs to be
able to hire somebody moving forward.
And I agree with everybody else here
that says the ability to obtain um,
instead of possess. So that means
possess upfront before they would even
be considered. But this means that they
must be able to obtain and and maintain
that lensure which is going to be
dependent upon the safety service
director at that point if he wants to
pursue that. And he's made the point
that you know even though right now our
superintendent does not have a CDL, it's
management's right to wave that right
also. So that's the point that I want to
bring. And Mr. Boyd, I'm going to give
you about a minute to summarize your
comments before we go to a vote.
>> I think that Yep. just hey taking this
power away from us and hey what we have
put in place and allowing it. One of the
bigger things also is it's not just that
it's when comments have come up about
being able to furnish the CDL license
for our employees. Uh I'm waiting for an
answer on that one also from Monday when
I had questioned if it is actually a
true comment that we are not able to
help furnish this because we do not have
the current requirements met by our
street department superintendent. And so
that was one I asked on Monday. I
haven't heard anything back yet. And so
those are items that if we can't train
them then how are we going to say that
we will possibly offer it? And that's my
concern.

Reserve Project um to add some
some number of houses that I'm not
remembering at the moment um and and to
modify the petition to accommodate that
um that change. Um, and again, the uh
Gateway Community Authority is a uh
structure that would allow the um the
specific taxing structure of those
properties to pay for the infrastructure
of the residential area.

we negotiated uh, a percentage of 20% of
the money through the through that NCA
uh, does come to the city to help pay
for safety forces. Just to let everybody
know, I had a pretty long discussion
with Mr. Saltzman today. This is kind of
new information for him. And we're not
real sure how that's going to work out
just yet. But when you have the money
that's coming in to help pay for the
services, we're going to have to extend,
right, with all these houses, uh, we're
going to, you know, possibly have to buy
hire more firemen, buy more equipment,
and if this money can go towards that,
uh, that's what our hope was to begin
with. So that is part of this uh this
addition to this land will do the same
thing as the original NCA.
So this this is

positions that are subject to residency
restrictions to the county or contiguous
county, but it doesn't define what quote
certain other positions are. So, the
purpose of this resolution is to define
quote certain positions, those having
the residency requirement to include the
police chief, police captain, police k9
officer, police detective, fire chief,
parks and recreation director, street
superintendent, assistant street
superintendent, street foreman, street
maintenance worker one, street
maintenance worker two, sanitation
superintendent. Again, if there is a
sanitation superintendent and and the
reason for these specific jobs is
because in the event of an emergency or
a disaster, these u specific persons are
going to need to be able uh to respond
within I think the thought was, you
know, an hour or so and requiring them
to live within the county or a
contiguous county would allow that to be
satisfied.
>> Right. And at one point I think they
tried to put a mileage limitation on but
um I think that's kind of been overruled
at the state level. So it's a county and
the contiguous county to that.
>> There is no no rush on this. This is
just cleaning up policies and
procedures.

submit a ballot question to the electors
of the city of London and declare an
emergency.
>> So um with utility prices going uh
skyhigh, we are already on an electric
aggregation program. That aggregation
program that we did have before
expired. we had to um kind of rush to
get onto a new aggregation program in
order to keep our um our electricity
rates as low as possible. Um even though
they did increase substantially, they
increased to a lesser degree than they
would have without the benefit of
aggregation. And for reasons beyond me,
um the when the utility when the
electricity aggregation program was
passed some years ago, uh why they did
not include natural gas aggregation, um
maybe it was the rates didn't warrant
it. I don't know. Uh but all I know is I
saw my gas bill effectively double this
past winter, especially with the um long
extended periods of cold that we had.
And we are not currently engaged in any
um natural gas aggregation program which
allows the the point of an aggregation
program is it allows a broker to sell
the city's services as a bundle and
broker for a better rate for all
residents that elect to stay in the
program. There is you're automatically
signed up but under this program you can
opt out or choose to terminate your
involvement at any point in time and
feel free if you want to pay the higher
rate um depending on the the the
contract that we get. that may be the
better idea for your particular
household. I can tell you that as a
small business owner for the theater,
our our gas rate is high enough and our
house is big enough that we will always
opt for the aggregation if we can. Um
just because you know the more the
marrier the the more uh customers we
have the lower the price. Um so this um
does have a declaration of emergency but
I do think we can still go three
readings on it. So, um, we'll leave it
on for second reading to allow that to,
uh, ferment here just a little bit.
>> Right. This has a requirement that would
have to be
to the board of elections, I believe, 90
days prior to the November 3rd election.
So, we have some time to get this done.
It does bring a question that I don't
know that we asked and maybe you know
the answer to, Shannon. Uh, are we
required to have a public hearing on
this before?
>> I I believe so.
She didn't put a sticky note on it. So I
don't know.

we did for the electricity aggregation
one and when it was initially imposed
not to choose an aggregator but when the
choice to aggregate did require a public
hearing. So we should probably get
moving on that one too.

the ballot, but we I think we may be
required to have a public hearing. I'm
not 100% sure. We need to find that out.

company for the next three years.

going to give you a quick update. Peters
and I, President Peters and I, uh,
discussed this yesterday because we
needed some clarification on what
exactly we need to get and don't get.
Um, this is going to be brought up at
the next meeting before finance because
we can do the first reading, take it to
finance, and as long as it gets
sponsored. We'd already have one reading
out of the way, it doesn't delay it
anymore. Um, so we will have some more
information. We're going to ask that the
uh this be put on the agenda. Um, but I
will tell you that President Peters, I
believe, signed a purchase order with
you or he signed something I I believe u
to to order two new speakers, which was
like $1,200 total. And he could take
that, I believe, right out of our our
budget for council. So, we should have
speakers here before we have to do
everything else. But, uh, I just want to
let everybody know that that would be
coming up. I also think we might want to
consider the re rechargeable
microphones. Uh maybe we need to add

summertime for myself as well as a

digging into some other items and
putting time in back here in the city.

we've talked about this a little bit. I
just want to let you know at sometime in
the near future I expect to have an X or
a presentation from Mr. Campana, we've
discussed and we discussed it a couple
years ago about redistricting our wards.
Our wards are
illegal to say the least because of the
size of some of the wards compared to
the others. There is a formula for that.
We started to address this a couple
years ago. It didn't go anywhere and I
just thought having a fresh set of eyes
would be great. I'm hoping that Mr.
Campanic comes and gives a presentation.
It'll be council's decision on what we
do, but at least it's a fresh set of
eyes to say you've got too many people
in this ward and maybe we can make some
adjustments to this and he'll explain
some more information that he's learned
here in the future. So, there's that.
Um, also, uh, this is, uh, a shameless
plug for the Lions Club. The Lions
summer bash will be on June 6th at
Cowling Park from 11 to 3. We will have
hamburgers and hot dogs donated
graciously by Blueestar uh, Farms. Uh we
have family games, a bounce house, face
painting, balloon animals. We have a
duck race that cost a few bucks, but
it's kind of fun to do. And uh we invite
anybody and everybody to come out on
again June 6, Saturday, June 6 from 11
to 3 at Calling Park. Mr. Hayes, I'd
like you to bring this home, please. All

last couple weeks when we presented

in bad shape. I think, you know,
especially our London students, uh,
we're on the right track and they're
doing a great job. So, we wish them well

and women who died, didn't come home.
Um, I just had a a friend of mine who
was killed in Vietnam.
He took out 30ome North Vietnamese
soldiers before they got him. He saved
his his group of men. They all got back.
He didn't. He won the Congressional
Medal of Honor and they they just had a
bio on him.
But
take some time this weekend, remember
our our service people. We're in a bad
time right now. Um, but
thank God we got people that will serve
and put on the uniform and do what they
do and they do it really well. I'm very
proud of our military right now. So pray
for them and I just ask the Lord to
watch over the city of London, keep us
all safe, keep us all well, and give us
a glorious Memorial Day weekend. Even if
we have a little bit of rain, that won't
