>> Quite well, thank you. But um glad to

see that we've uh healthy and

successfully made it through our uh

holiday

50th celebration. I haven't heard any of

the offers yet over the weekend. So

that's a good thing for our county.

We're pretty busy handling calls.

Nothing too major. Well, I guess we did

that one major incident fatality on 71

the other night that had the roadway

closed for some time. everybody assist

with that. Um

during the holiday the sheriff's office

participated handled four parses

obviously London West Jefferson Mount

Sterling and Plain City quite a bit of

staff that they did pretty good job to

the au help and the full-time deputies

that did it as well. So,

at that point in time, we did have

somebody step down from the zoning

commission as well. So, we actually had

two open seats, two different boards. So

my recommendation after speaking with

the individuals would be to reappoint

Matt uh Matt Ters to uh the seat that he

currently holds on BCA and to appoint

Chris remember

uh to um the Boring Commission at this

move.

before. We've been unable to meet the

timelines uh due to u some inaction of

other associated boards. So, at this

point in time, I would request that the

commissioners pass a resolution

initiating that process and

um um Tish to come up and be here.

Dennis isn't here just in case you guys

had any questions as far as concerned.

>> Uh, so I just wanted to give an update

on the last kind of conversation we had

about the uh CIC committee for incentive

um review. So still working through the

process on that. I I believe there might

be another tool that already exists

through the Jackson council that might

be a better committee that already

exists to utilize instead of adding

another committee. So, I'm going back

through and doing some research on kind

of how the um chur has been set up in

the past and if any updates need to be

made to make it more consistent um with

kind of processes and procedures. So,

uh, I don't have an update for you any

other than that, but something I'm

continuing to, um, analyze just to make

sure that we're

creating effective processes procedures.

Um, and outside of that, but something

that I'm I'm working on next week, maybe

depending on the uh a situation, I plan

on sometime soon like a economic

development ecosystem of Madison County

and kind of going through all the

different resources and tools for

authority, land bank, CIC, how like kind

of different tasks of different

responsibilities for economic

development are all work together. Now

that I've gotten a better understanding

of still working through some of the

nuances with the different communities,

I think it will help kind of shared

how the county and all the different

jurisdictions kind of interact together

around economic development. So, I'm

working on putting that together. If you

have any specific questions or specific

things that you want me to cover, send

me a note or ask me a question. Um, and

I'll include it. Probably won't be the

only time. And I also am planning on

doing kind of some type of road show of

the different jurisdictions, um,

townships and villages, school

districts, chamber, all that kind of

stuff. Um, so that they can have an

idea. I know they knew David and I knew

um kind of how things have been

transitioning for development and

there's just a lot of activity. There's

a lot of questions around development

and people um haven't had a chance to

meet everyone yet. So that's the next

couple of months. So plan to try to

present to y'all first and then both

scheduled the rest of them out. So,

anything that specifically keeps your

interest, let me know. I'll make sure to

include it.

morning. Um so we have Robinson Road

closed right now for a culbert

replacement uh between 56 and the bridge

Madison Lake that bridge is closed like

20th for replacement

The di

between 56 and 71 closes. It's a trust

bridge closes July 27th for replacement.

That project has been waiting out there

um for the subject one uh reconstruction

get get completed.

actually had this slated

that project slated for about 3 years

ago with all the closures with 71 being

closed on. So those two bridges

represent around $3 million in a dollar

make that possible. So

will also be 12k.

So we work with fire departments

and all that to make sure

for beg.

Good. It is now 9:00 a.m. This is the

time set aside for the ADA advisory

committee update. Susan D, over to you.

>> Wonderful. Thank you very much. We did

meet my glasses. Um 16th of June. Um

we've done a lot made a lot of progress

and I have Dan's a lot of it involves

him and so go ahead Dan. So, I've been

talking with the architects and

engineers for the 26 pre-selected

doorways to be replaced. Uh, plans and

specs are being drawn up. Uh, specs have

been completed. Uh, waiting for the, uh,

on-site measurements to get a bid packet

put together. Um, that would be the next

step in the process for going public

with the bid. Uh, which is all handled

through the the CCO CCAO accounting firm

organization.

Um

the courthouse uh signage, the ASA

signage um notices to the public that

this area is hand accessible. Uh all of

those uh signs have been posted. Uh

that's all updated throughout the

courthouse. Um

oh the door handles. So there is a CFR

that maintains the historic value of

buildings such as this that says we do

not have to destroy the historic

significance in order to become ADA. Um

my concern was changing out the original

door marketer and what would that look

like? uh working with a local general uh

from wires hardware driver

uh he has found some new door handles

that will go onto the existing door

latch assembly so we don't have to

retrofit all we have to do is replace

the knobs and panels so it's significant

time cost and appearance also maintains

its normal value of the

um

prosecutor's office work is ongoing. Uh

the retaining wall has been uh poured.

Uh is now waiting for the dry season for

paint. Uh contractor does have paint

match to the existing steps. Uh just

waiting on everything to be dry so that

paint adheres properly. Um the sidewalk

will be within the next two to four

weeks. uh contractor had an illness in

the family. So that we can back some but

uh sidewalk will be replaced the entire

length of the frontage uh end to end of

the retain wall. After the sidewalk

would be the front entry for department

of job and family services.

It's in sore need of replacement. Uh

slip tripped and falls and slope is zero

there.

uh due to its age condition um distance

slated for replacement on this on the

schedule.

Um public health department uh also

needs entry concrete work. Uh we're

probably triple the slope value there.

Um that building was new in 1977 if my

mind remembers correctly. Um undergone a

lot of different variations.

So along with those many remodels slope

just uh happen to be overlooked at one

time or another. So next year we'll be

remodeling that area to to match.

Um parking lots uh EMA and Tiger office

have both been repaved and resealed

within the last two years.

um public health office and job and

family services have also been sealed

and striped and municipal court is next

on the schedule to be sealed and

striped. Uh it doesn't sound like a lot,

but these are all things that were noted

in our report from the MA.

Need to be able to get out of the

building. We need to be able to get out

of the parking lot, but have to have

appropriate spaces um similar to the way

we've done in the past

is uh far as my end of things. That's uh

all I have.

>> One thing Stephanie did tell us when we

were our last meeting and we had thought

we were talking about a timeline for

doors. It's 60 days prior to an

election. you can't do any type of

construction on board of elections. So

that kind of bump them back a little

bit. So they're not going to touch

anything there um construction wise

until after the election.

landscaping, has also ventured into the

concrete business. So, uh, I had him

come out do a quote for the song, uh,

and the concrete. I think there were

nine notated segments

for for uh, he has since given that

quote to, uh, Trisco systems, Kyle

Walter, Trisco. Uh,

>> Yes. and uh he is comparing that to

right now he's waiting on a quote from

one of his contractors to kind of like

we do with our comparative quotes. Um

but uh we have not completed payment

just as a reassurance to make sure that

we get those things repaired with damage

to
